I live in Pennington, New Jersey (just outside Princeton, New Jersey), as a residential faculty member of The Pennington School, a day/boarding 6 - 12 independent school. I am the Director of Global Studies, which encompasses academic, co-curricular, and travel programs. I also teach a history course called Global Studies, and in the English Department. I'm most excited to try a new modality -- I'm not very artistic, so learning about a culture as expressed through its arts sounds fascinating. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking and gardening, reading, and travel. I suppose something surprising about me might be that I can drive anything -- I've driven a Zamboni, boats, a forklift, ambulance, school buses -- I'm always comfortable behind a wheel (although I prefer to be a passenger so I can look out the window).
