Hi! I'm Esther Gottesman. I use she/her/hers pronouns.

I'm from Brooklyn, NY. I still live there and work as public school teacher. I teach 4th grade ICT (special education inclusion). It's hard to choose which of the workshops I am most excited about!

I love writing poetry (and do this annually with my class) so I am really looking forward to the ghazals and poetry work. When I'm not teaching, I love being outside in any way I can: gardening, walking my dog in the park, hiking and camping. Something surprising about me is that I worked as a school garden teacher for 5 years. While doing that, I raised 10 chickens for their first month of life in my bathtub. I had to shower at my neighbors because my bathroom was full of chickens!
